Cake Base (Vanilla or Chocolate)
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour or cake flour
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- ¾ cup unsalted butter room temperature
- 1 cup milk or buttermilk
- 2 ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
Buttercream Frosting
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 –2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Food-safe coloring gels for themed colors
Decorations
- Fondant multiple colors
- Edible Roblox character prints or edible markers
- Character toppers or printed images
- Roblox logo cutouts
- Edible glitter or shimmer dust optional
Make the Cake Base
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line your cake pans.
Cream butter and sugar together until fluffy.
Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
In a separate bowl, sift flour, baking powder, and salt.
Alternately mix in dry ingredients and milk until just combined.
Pour batter evenly into pans.
Bake 30–35 minutes. Check with a toothpick.
Cool completely on a wire rack.
Prepare Buttercream
Beat butter until smooth.
Gradually add powdered sugar.
Mix in milk and vanilla. Beat until fluffy.
Tint with food coloring as needed.
Assemble & Decorate
Level your cakes if needed. Stack with buttercream between layers.
Frost the outside using an offset spatula and turntable.
Roll out fondant and cut into shapes: characters, blocks, Roblox logo.
Attach fondant and toppers to the cake.
Add final touches like borders, names, or glitter.
